Review of Take Me Home (2011) by Karen H — 23 Jan 2016

The movie had the potential to be charming, but it was hard to care about the story because the male lead was simply too much of a jerk (questionable ethics, lack of empathy), so there was no reason to want the female lead to fall for him.

As a result, moments that were intended to be funny came across as contrived. In spite of all that, the ending managed to make me feel something, so I went ahead and gave the movie one star, but I wouldn't recommend it or watch it again.
