Shot back to back with Tai Chi Zero, Lu Chan finally gets to learn Chen style kung fu after marrying Yu Niang. The plot is very similar to the first movie, with the same villain. The film's only highlight is the step back from relying on pop culture references and developing characters.
The best part was definitely yhe final battle between Lu Chan and the Prince's butler, played by Yuen Biao. Other than that, its a routine sequel that leaves off for potential future installments.
