Review of Tag (2018) by P M — 03 Jul 2018
My wife and I checked out "Tag". The comedy is based upon a real-life game of adults where the play tag one month a year, including travelling across the country to tag someone. The movie twists this a bit where one of the friends (Renner) has never been tagged.
These guys will go to great lengths, including abandoning their families/jobs, etc. to win. This make good fodder for comedy. Things move along quickly, and some situations are comical. However, there are a few serious elements that seem awkward, at times.
A lot of the comedy is slapstick, and it occasionally works. It was a meh for me. My wife hated it.
