OK. Forget all "war" movies you have seen before. Wave goodbye to Platoon, tell Private Ryan to fuck off and start making some noise on the western front. This is without doubt the greatest war film ever made.
The performances are outstanding the storyline thoroughly believable and the cinematography is stunning. The Korean war is hardly known in the western world (technically it's still going)and Tae-Guk-Gi shows how a country was torn in two by the fat cats of America and the fear of communism.
A real gut wrenching emotional rollercoaster as friends fight friends and families kill families. Guaranteed to make you cry on more than one occasion. WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!
