Review of Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (2004) by Fred L — 16 Oct 2007
I was a bit disapointed with this film. I was expecting an interesting spin on genre like so many Asain films do, but unfortunatly it was a pretty bog standard war film. It was pretty much Saving Private Ryan in South Korea.
However it is worth watching for its engaging (if a little sentimental) storyline and well chorograhed battle scenes.
