Review of Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (2004) by Liam J — 16 Jul 2009
This is the biggest budget film in Korean history?
What starts of as a barely tolerable, over acted snog fest between two brothers turns into a badly paced action flick.
It tried to disguise this as much a possible. Telling you this is a social commentary, that its all about the horrors of war, the uncertanty as to why north and south are at these terms with one another.
An absolute waste of time.
I especially feel sorry for Choi Min-sik who wasted 2 mins a screentime on this disaster.
