Review of Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War (2004) by Daniel C — 22 Jul 2012
This movie is superior to Saving Private Ryan, not on action, but on its drama and how siblings can relate to this movie. The older one, even though they argue and fight, loves the younger brother or sister and does everything in their power to protect them.
The ending always makes me shed a tear every time I see it. The interactions between the characters are better in this movie than Saving Private Ryan. The Omaha beach scene however, cannot be overmatched.
