I love Errol Morris docs. Bit this lost it about half way through. Once the intrigue of the chained sex case was dropped in favor of poor Joyce and her inability to love again and her cloned puppies I lost any compassion for her tabloid fame/infamy.

If there was more direct testimony from other key players instead of just Joyce and a pilot who bailed even before the "kidnapping" took place I might have felt more for those involved. If the "victim" wouldn't talk you lose one side of a whole story.

So all in all it's incomplete and ends with a whimper instead of bang. Sorry Errol. I love your work but this just doesn't live up to what we've come to expect from such a great documentary filmmaker.
