Refreshing and subtly surprising and creative. I didn't have high expectations but found the offhand jokes and little details funny and entertaining. The characters were likable and engaging, and it reminded me how you meet random people in life sometimes that you end up feeling connected with.
I give it 4 stars, obviously I don't care what the "critics" say about it. They lost my confidence with all of the crappy movies they praised in 2016.
