Phooey on all these critics that felt this narrative didn't go deep enough. I grew up in the Tab Hunter era, and frankly, being a young guy, wasn't a huge fan of his movies. I'm a huge fan now. I found this a refreshing change from the melodramatic and cleverly-put together documentaries we usually have served to us.

It's just an enjoyable film listening and watching a legend - if not for all the right reasons - tell his story, name names, and reveal the highs and lows that come with celebrity. He has every reason in the world to be a bitter old queen, but he's far, far from it.
