Exceeded my expectations.
Will only really 'work' for people that a) have seen Trainspotting and b) are of the generation that grew up with and were influenced by the original film.
There are lots of references to the original film (and soundtrack) and also Danny Boyle's other films.
Superb acting from all the cast. A brilliant meditation on life. It goes a lot deeper than you might expect. Oh, and it's also hilarious.
A gift for fans of the original.
