Review of T2 Trainspotting (2017) by Billy M — 31 Jan 2017
21 years have past (to be exact) and it's like an old school who has found you facebook , you realise how war torn you both really are. To the point though this sequel is really a story of redemption in the most unlikely places, the film works well if you hadn't seen the original (foolish if you don't) as the past haunts these characters throughout the film.
It doesn't have the punch of that golden 1996 film, but maybe that's the point? It's only after watching the film and leaving the cinema that I started to take in the emotional journey I have just shared with these characters.
