20 years later, Trainspotting 2 lacks a lot of the classic-ness of the original, including its intense visual style and world-stablishing narration, but in many ways T2 doesnt really need all of these aspects as it truthfully understands how to expand on the stories stablished years ago, and how to evolve and without feeling nostalgic over the wrong aspects, making for a beautiful "conclusion" that feels as timeless as it should be.
