"Corruption is why we win." To hear those words sends shivers down your spine, but they do ring true to a certain extent in this cynical portrayal of US foreign relations and the economics of oil. Hard to follow for those who don't put their mind to it, but for those who do, the investment pays off - just like it does for those oil companies.
In comparison to the recent Body of Lies it's not nearly as good, and the cynical message doesn't resonate quite as well.
