Review of Syriana (2005) by Andrew O — 03 Feb 2009
Excellent film which deals with the complexities underlying the West's obsession with oil. It's a very intricate plot - I defy anyone to understand the whole thing on the first viewing - fortunately, the acting, direction and cinematography make this well-worth sitting through several times.
George Clooney and Matt Damon excel - as do the supporting actors. Loved it.
