Review of Syriana (2005) by Daniel O — 26 Apr 2009
Although I have to recognize the qualities of the movie (complex plot, some breathtaking climax moments), this is a very political, puzzled movie wich is not for all audiences. Extremely hard to follow, with many unlinked characters that only get together at brief points (some of them don't even have relationship with the story), it is indeed a revealing movie about the dark methods of goverments to reach their goals and the hypocrisy of the so-called oil enterprises.
But the story, the characters are a mere excuse to show all this complex movements, as I said not for all audiences. I reccomend it just for people very commited to political issues.
