Some people get the impression that this is a movie by a "liberal" for "liberals" who hate Bush, especially is Middle East policies. That, of course, is completely ridiculous. That Syriana would have been easier to make, vastly less complex, would have gone much further.
No, Syriana is a modern parable, though, for U.S. policy, but it is objective, which makes it all the more tragic.
