After writing the hard hitting Traffic, Stephen Gagan, this time directs this mutil layered tale about politics, intrigue and double dealing in a Middle East Oil kingdom. Much like Traffic this movie has multiple storyinles that intersect at some point.
Looking at the Middle east through the eyes of a former CIA agent, an up comming oil Company executive, an idealistic Prince in the Gulf, Syriana is one of the best movies of the last decade. Great performances by George Clooney, Matt Damon, Chris Cooper, Christopher Plummer, just elevate it further.
