An honest, disturbing and sad film. I think Syriana is fabulous for it's unbiased approach to an often murky subject loaded with conspiracy and corruption. Its' approach at telling it from all sides of the story is what makes it truely remarkable. Years ahead of its' time,this film will be looked back on in 75-100 years and be an almost record of the current time.
Film wise its glad its got a good story, for the editing is far too fast and the multitude of characters, proves that unless you're on the ball with this one, you'll probaby miss out on the point. As for acting, it's ok, but for Clooney to win an academy award, I don't know, he wasn't that great. Personally some of the Arab actors showed far more emotion and presence than Clooney, but considering the nominations for this years academy awards, I'm not surprised.
