Review of Syriana (2005) by Josh C — 12 Nov 2008

I can't give this a 5 because of its slow pacing and over use of unsettling silence. To watch this film you really need to be in the mood to devote the time. Brilliant story with an impressive cast, who all come off as genuine... maybe a little too genuine.

I recommend taking the effort to actually sit and watch a movie that will force you to think. Then when you're done, go watch Shoot Em Up for your quick fix of mindless fun.
