Review of Synecdoche, New York (2008) by Erika K — 27 Apr 2010
On second viewing, I made it through this movie.. slow-moving & depressive, surreal & dostoyevsky-esque. addressing the less attracttive aspects of existence through the neurotic & obsessive self-examination of a playwright/director.
some brilliant moments, very dense, high-brow script which begs analysis. I didnt find it very illuminating, but think it a good effort none the less.
