Review of Synecdoche, New York (2008) by Tim R — 17 Aug 2011
A whirlwind of ideas and direction that explores new territory as far as a movie is concerned. Kaufman creates a story that is unique and beautifully written, as expected from the writer of Eternal Sunshine.
To call this movie thought provoking from the ideals expressed would be an understatement. Listen for the monologues, especially in the second half, very powerful. A movie that makes you think, that's all I can ask for.
