Review of Synecdoche, New York (2008) by Keith C — 14 Jan 2012
Though the premise seems to have boatloads of potential, Synecdoche lacks the wit of Kaufman's other films, and often feels like an incoherent mess. This would be much more forgivable if it weren't doused in a level of cynicism that made it difficult for me to even want to care what was happening in front of me.
