Review of Synecdoche, New York (2008) by Sayer F — 06 Feb 2014
Synecdoche is deep in its philosophy, being humorous, yet emotionallydestructive. The whole thing is packed with symbolism, and it's one extended metaphor. Phillip Seymour Hoffman gives one of the best performances I've ever seen.
This is a film that I'll need to see multiple times.
