What starts out as a boring and dull film turns out to be a fascinating and inventive motion picture ever since Hoffman starts making his magnum opus with the never ending dopplegangers. The fantasy and the post modern elements of the film are good with a nuanced performance from Hoffman. However, the film is often self-indulging and fails to connect, specially in it's ending. I have never been a huge fan of any of the Koffman creations and the same goes for this as well.
