The first of the Vengeance trilogy, is an excellent portrait of despair and vengeance. The film is visually stunning with a plot that left me drained after watching. It follows a dead and dumb mute who sets out trying to save his sister, who needs a new kidney to survive.
What follows is a series of mistakes and misfortunes which spiral out of control leaving atrail of dead and people seeking revenge.
