Review of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) by Peter G — 19 Jul 2009
The Vengeance Trilogy is quite the viewing experience, and this first portion is a tense tale about a kidnapping gone wrong and the bloody fallout that follows.
The film has a few humorous bits, but for the most part is unwaveringly bleak and never fails to let the viewer know that if anything ever appears to be looking up, it will quickly fall through, with catastrophic results.
