Review of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002) by Sarah C — 24 Aug 2009
I'm not doing too well on the enjoying film front at the moment. I was really looking forward to this, expecting Oldboy redux (or something). Instead I got organ theft, which has been done with far greater aplomb in a film that was so good I can't remember its name.
Oh and there was some sort of kidnap plot. And terminal illness. And I turned it off before everyone exploded and the world turned sky-blue pink. I guess I just wasn't in the mood to watch it. Which is a shame, as normally I love Korean fims.
Except for the ones with fish hooks. Bah.
