Review of Sylvia Scarlett (1935) by Meghan H — 31 Aug 2008
Shakespeare's lost film script...it has all the marks. Gender confusion, vagabond performers, and love triangles. It's the oddest film from the 30s I've seen, I think. But it was a nostalgic treat in this action film-obsessed culture.
Cary Grant is fantastic, to boot.
