Review of Sydney White (2007) by Carol H — 19 Jul 2012

Amanda Bynes gives us her typical lame performance in a teen movie that's suppose to some what have the same storyline as Snow White. Really I think that's the dumbest thing ever because we have seen this shit done before.

There was a movie called A Cinderella Story and it tried to be this teen romance story that's suppose to be like the Disney movie Cinderella and now this movie Sydney White is trying the same thing but with a different Disney movie.

I do give this movie one thing it wasn't as bad as A Cinderella Story but this movie was still pretty bad. It mostly bases the movie on Sydney White who's name sounds like Snow White..........

My god that's stupid, but whatever. It's about Sydney and she goes to College looking to join a sorority and it's ruled by Rachel Witchburn who suppose to be like the evil witch because he last name has witch in it.

....... Again not funny and not at all clever. Anyways when Sydney is pledging the sorority she meets a guy named Tyler Prince.......... Yes once again that's not funny. Anyways after she doesn't make the pledge she goes and lives at a student household called the vortex and the only people that live in the vortex are these seven nerdy guys, who are suppose to resemble the seven dwarfs and how they put them in this movie is the only thing I found clever.

Like one guy likes sex so much so he's always Happy and one guy has bad allergies so he's Sneezy and one guy is scared to talk with people so he talks through a puppet so he's suppose to be Bashful and so and so fourth, this part of the movie I actually like and it's actually kind of funny, but unfortunately the nerds in this movie act so much like the nerds from The Big Bang Theory it kind of feels like it's ripping it off.

But never the less the nerds were the only thing good in this movie, they gave us a few jokes and there the only ones that you give a shit about. As for Amanda Bynes she was awful in this movie, she can't at all and I don't know why she's still doing movies.

Also has for the co-stars Matt Long and Sara Paxton they too were awful in this movie, maybe not as bad as Amanda Bynes but they were still pretty shitty. So in closing I can see why a lot of teen girls like this movie, it has cheesy romance in it, horrible actors and bad writing that's a perfect movie for a teen girl.

For me on the other hand I couldn't stand this movie, I don't hate as much as A Cinderella Story but like I said this movie sucks.
