Review of Swordfish (2001) by Pradannayanti M — 31 Mar 2009
I think John Travolta really says it best at the beginning of this movie, when he remarks on the fact that even when the cast and the acting and everything may be good, there still may be something lacking.
I find it incredibly ironic that he says that in this movie, because it is true within this context. I felt that John Travolta was really just playing Vinny Vega from the only role he ever played well.
I don't like him very much otherwise, so that still leaves me a plus. I saw Halle's Rack- still a plus. Hugh Jackman- now there's a negative. His acting was very unconvincing throughout this movie.
Don Cheadle, was exceptional, as always. I guess on the whole, I found this movie to be pretty alright. Probably won't see it again though.
