Review of Swiss Army Man (2016) by Justin B — 11 May 2017
A rather strange, bizarre but touching film about the bond between two people.
Danielle Radcliffe is literally a 'Swiss army man'; a human being that seems lifeless but useful in so many respects.
Paul Dano as Hank finds hope when he discovers a seemingly dead body actually has life left in him and basically teaches him about the joys and pitfalls of being alive.
Whether it's love, girls, embarrassment or having thoughts on top of each other these two have a great bro-mance.
The movie also has a hell of a twist near the end showing how special we can all be and we all have some ugly inside of us.
People can still be happy if they're just not afraid and stand out a bit more than usual.
We either leave home because no one loves us or go back to find that love again.
