In the tradition of such classics like 'Diner,' this is a simple, but very realistic comedy. Vince Vaughn will always be the righteous nutcase of humor that he is, and Jon Favreau fits his character perfectly.
Being set in California, it's quite believable to assume that most everyday conversations are centered around beautiful women and good/bad movies.
