What Reservoir Dogs is to crime, this movie is to 90's douchebags (there's even a funny scene that directly references Reservoir Dogs). Not a lot really happens, with a pretty heavy focus on dialogue.
Even though the characters aren't very likeable, they're still enjoyable to watch, and I found it strangely engaging. It can feel a bit bland, but it has a certain charm that makes it worthwhile.
