It's rarely laugh out loud funny, but it doesn't need to be. Great writing from Favreau, direction from Liman, and performances all around that will punch you straight in whatever organ awkwardness is attributed to (I DON'T KNOW, DAMMIT).
Camera work is a little shaky sometimes, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. 8.0/10.
