Review of Swingers (1996) by Bob S — 03 Dec 2010
This is a film that you can easily watch over and over. The film is remembered too much for Vaughnâ(TM)s âmoneyâ? character, and as a story about the LA club scene and a group of guys out looking for one-night stands.
While this serves as an often humourous backdrop, the real story is about dealing with the end of a long-term relationship, realizing that your relationship does not solely define you, and finally how gratifying moving on with your life can be.
Hidden within the machismo, martinis and Sega Genesis NHL battles is one of the best and most honest portrayals of the lonely side of bachelorhood.
