Review of Swing Vote (2008) by Zain K — 17 Apr 2010
I usually hate Kevin Costner, but this was a very good movie. It really speaks to the importance of getting involved in politics by the simple act of voting. It also speaks to how out of control 24-hr news has gotten.
As George Lopez says, its not journalism or news, its television. Without giving away the ending, which was good, no matter which way this character votes the nation will know who he chose. I don't know if thats legal, but either way, it was a well-made movie, even though its about 20 min too long.
