Review of Swing Vote (2008) by Dillon C — 26 Jan 2009

I had very little expectations for Swing Vote, but it somewhat suprised me. The cast as a whole was very good, with Kevin Costner being every bit as good as we know he is, but the real steal shower came from the young Madelline Carroll.

This film touches on some real issues that hit home, especially to your every day common man. It indeed is a satireiical comedy, but it has aspects of drama and emotion envolved, making it bigger then your run of the mill comedy.

No the plot isnt perfect, its not the most funny film ever put out, but it was touching, and it was an enjoyable watch none the less.
