Review of Swing Vote (2008) by Damion R — 10 Mar 2010
Despite my personal dislike of Kevin Costner, this could have been a good film. Playing a bumbling, unemployed redneck who, because of a mishap involving his daughter and a voting machine, ends up being the one whose vote will determine the outcome of a US presidential election, all the elements were there to be a well-spent two hours.
And then you get to the final scene, and the entire film was (semi-spolier alert!) rendered pointless.
