Review of Swing Vote (1999) by Jennifer K — 15 Feb 2009
Funny movie. The idea of it is great, and a lot of the ridiculousness is very funny. The individual characters and their interactions are a little lacking though. The little girl was great, but her precociousness is a bit unbelievable.
I rarely like Kevin Costner (The Bodyguard being an exception) and I didn't like him in this. He came off as a phony bumbling loser. But the movie was funny, kinda cute, even a little inspirational!
