Iï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)ve watched all of Kyungsooï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s acting performances, so I can confidently say this is his best role so far in his acting career. Even if I am an EXO-L and Dandanie, I try not to let my bias cloud my judgment when it comes to his acting skills because I want him (and all the other members) to improve, especially when we all know he can.

But after finally getting to see Swing Kids, I am still so impressed with actor Doh Kyungsoo for raising the bar on himself yet again. His sacrifices and efforts to step into the tap shoes of Roh Kisoo has paid of in spades, and he truly transformed himself into someone new. Yes, there are traces of Kyungsoo in his character, but in the film he has fulfilled a role, feelings, and personalities he doesnï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t possess and wants to freely explore.

I could go on and on and on about Kyungsoo, but I could see why he was so excited and proud of being a part of this film. And thatï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s because the movie itself is magnificent. Yes, some may say tap and world wars seem to be an odd combination, some may say it doesnï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t make sense. But thatï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s exactly why we need more movies like Swing Kids - it shows how even in the ugliness and craziness of life and humans, there are always more beautiful things within us and greater things that connects us. With how weï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)re doing today, donï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t you think we need to be reminded of that? Swing Kids does that and more. Director Kangï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s eagerness to make this film happen, and making it captivating, is inspiring. I could usually guess what happens in movies, but Iï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)m so glad to be wrong and ended being surprised and more touched with how the story went.

I also havenï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t felt this connected to majority of characters in a movie. I love that the characters, both major and minor, arenï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t so simple. You canï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t just pick the obvious protagonists and hate on the villains because people in real life possess both sides. I love the choice in music/OST, because it shows incredible diversity. And lastly, I fell in love with all members of Swing Kids. No one character is greater than the other, and thatï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s why theyï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)ve created something only the five of them could. To the incredible Rick Grimes, the lovely Park Hyesoo, the heartwarming Oh Jungse, and the adorable Kim Minho, I applaud all of you. Your talents and heart have shone throughout the movie. I canï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)t imagine this movie and the group without all four of you.

To Director Kang Hyeong Cheol , the writers, and the crew, thank you for making this film. Thank you for not giving up when youï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)ve been told to replace Kyungsoo and sharing with us exactly why you chose him for Roh Kisoo. And of course, to the magnificent main stars and teammates of Swing Kids, thank you for accepting the roles as well, for giving it your all, and taking care of Kyungsoo well. This movie is something I will always cherish and would love to watch over and over again.

My greatest wish is that this film reaches all EXO-Ls, Dandanies, and movie fans everywhere. Itï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)s truly a gem. Support Swing Kids, everybody!
