Review of Swing Kids (1993) by Rheannon K — 13 Jan 2008
The beginning of this movie is mediocre, fun but not that much else. The second half is much more powerful, defining the emotions and forces that occurred within the German circles during the war. Maybe one of Christian's weaker roles acting-wise (but he sure can dance! ;) ) but I think his character portrays the situation of a lot of people during the war.
At any rate, he can make you hate him or pity him. It really was a very good movie and definitely a different angle on the war from most other films.
