Review of Swing Kids (1993) by Kathryn N — 15 Apr 2008
I've been wanting to see Swing Kids for a loooong time. Finally I watch it, and boy oh boy, I fell in love with it.
The hardships of WWII, the fear of getting caught, and the Nazis.
But there's also the fun, jazzy 30s-40s music that just rounds out the movie to be so good.
Robert Sean Leonard's acting was amazing in the movie, and you could really feel Peter's feelings about his father, and what he believes in.
The ending was surprisingly sad, and I really wasn't expecting it - I was ready for a happy ending between the characters.
Swing heil!
