Review of Swept from the Sea (1998) by I'm El Capitano! A — 19 Jan 2009

This movie has an amazing cast, and this is certainly a movie I would normally love. I felt, however, that it was definitely an adaptation--it didn't feel like a story in its own right, rather it felt forced.

Some of the scenes I felt were random, and some of the characters' actions and reactions were strange--perhaps there is better character development in the short story itself. I love Vincent Perez, and I didn't like him in this role.

Not nearly as steamy, sexy as he usually is. I won't see it again.
