Review of Swept Away (2002) by Richard D — 17 Aug 2007
Maddonna once again proves that she can do more than just sing hit songs, in one of her best believable performances since Evita, playing a rich and spoilt woman on a sea cruise who expects the world to fall at her feet, she and it is only when she along with a high spirited crew member that she treats as a slave are washed overboard together and it is only here when she realises that she is no better than anyone else and must rely on her companian as a friend,or more.
