Review of Sweetgrass (2009) by Nat H — 16 Nov 2010
Minimalist documentary style perfected. There isn't a single shot in this film that I couldn't stare at and muse over for hours. So profound and brutally simple at once, this is the sort of documentary I could watch a dozen times and draw a new, clear meaning from every time, despite the fact that there's never really much of anything going on.
One of my favorites.
