This is a movie I can watch over and over and never get tired of it. everything about it is great. the dialogue is razor-sharp, the performances are way too much fun to watch, the music is brilliant. mackendrick, known for directing comedies like The Ladykillers, made a truly dark and seedy film that really puts you in the world of these two very loathsome men.
it's a classic.
