Review of Sweet Smell of Success (1957) by Adam C — 09 Jul 2009
A film that still seems as fresh today as it did years ago. It is lean, mean and ruthless in it's story telling. On watching it a second time I remembered just how intense the film is. Curtis and Lancaster are both terrific here, and the both get my vote for two of the biggest bastards in film history.
Still as sharp as a nail after all these years, the film really stands out among it's peers.
