I just adored this movie. It is just a simple & sweet little love story. The cinematography was beautiful, the characters were real, the story was just lovely.
It's the story of Inge & Olaf. It starts with Inge as an old woman, telling her grandson about when she first came to America. Inge comes to Minnesota in 1920 as a mail order bride from Germany, to be wed to Olaf, a simple farmer. The community that Olaf lives in is very nervous about this new German woman & because of issues with her papers & immigration, they cannot be wed. It is the story of them & how love will overcome.
I just really enjoyed it.
