Review of Sweet Land (2005) by Mindy H — 14 Oct 2007

I thought this was a very good movie. It captured the frustration of the characters very well. It's so nice to watch a movie and not worry that the kids might walk in and see something. I only have one qualm and it's become a pet peeve.

Christians are once again portrayed as mindless blind followers of something that doesn't make sense and who go around judging everyone that's a little different. Yes, I know they're out there, but no, the majority of us know exactly why and what we believe in and love those around us, while wishing they could come to know the joy and freedom we have.
